A fork or wooden spoon works well for mashing it into a fine mixture. A person then washes the feet with water and dries them with a towel. They then rub the scrub on the heel and soles of the feet using their hands or a pumice stone. Afterward, they rinse the scrub off with warm water and dry their feet.

Basic Baby Oil Foot Scrub--
An individual combines 4 tablespoons of sugar or salt with 1/2 cup of almond oil, baby oil or coconut oil in a bowl and mixes well.
Peppermint Foot Scrub--
An individual combines 1 cup of sugar, up to a 1/2 cup of coconut or olive oil and a few drops of peppermint oil in a bowl and mixes well.
Sugar Cookie Scrub--
An individual combines 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 cup coconut or olive oil in a bowl and mixes well.
